We are thrilled to celebrate John Carranza, Pueblo Gardens Pre K-8 dedicated custodian! John has been a vital part of the TUSD family for almost 17 years, and he currently brings his can-do work ethic and positive attitude to Pueblo Gardens Pre K-8, where he’s been for five years!

John's career with TUSD began in the groundskeeping department, where he spent 10 years, before transitioning into custodial roles, at Utterback Middle School and two years at Magee. No matter the task, John says his favorite part of the job is the people! John lights up when talking about his job! He genuinely loves working hard to keep every classroom sparkling clean and getting to spend time with the teachers and students! At every single campus he's served, he deeply appreciates the kindness and respect shown to him by the students and staff—it truly makes his day!

When he’s off the clock, John hits the open road on his motorcycle, enjoying long, scenic rides for relaxation. His favorite trips include destinations like Queen Creek and Sahuarita. Thank you, John, for nearly two decades of commitment to TUSD! Your dedication makes Pueblo Gardens a great place to be!
